Het team van het Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) uit Zuid-Korea heeft afgelopen nacht in Florida de DARPA Robotics Challenge Trials gewonnen. Dit is een internationaal gerenommeerde wedstrijd voor robots die wordt ondersteund wordt door het Pentagon. Het winnende team nam het vrijdag en zaterdag op tegen in totaal vierentwintig teams uit onder meer Duitsland, Italië, Japan en de VS. De Koreanen gaan naar huis met twee miljoen dollar (1,8 miljoen euro).
